Green oceans

We are used to super competitive markets promoted by economic trends; in marketing terms, they are called red oceans. We know these markets for a rivalry between brands, which tends towards aggressiveness. But it is not the only model that exists. Blue oceans are also determined by focusing the strategy on market niches with little competition.

The Rose Tent Urban farms community believes that a cooperative market model is possible. We promote the idea that urban farms complement agriculture and traditional forms of cultivation. There is no need for competition, though cooperation is needed.

All food producers can become a support network, with space for each to produce and market concerning all others. We do not want red or blue oceans. Maybe we will become green oceans.

We want respect to be the seed of our commercial activity, where nature and people are respected. As a result, cooperation between all of us who intervene in the production and marketing chain guarantees a product reaches the final consumer. Abundant that adds up the benefit accumulated through the entire value chain.

There is much to do and produce; that is why cooperation is a quality we can promote and nurture to honor our corporate values: transparency, community, inclusion, and sustainability.
